Our work method can be divided in 4 phases:
1. The kick-off meeting
In this phase one of our people will discuss all your wishes and requirements in detail. If there are things unclear we will plan an extra meeting to take away any last uncertainties. Based on this intake we can give you an estimate of the costs but an exact price can only be given after approval of the functional design.
2. The functional design
Based on the information required in the first phase a functional design is created. Such a design is a schematic representation of the application created using so-called wire frames. This works very enlightening because you get a good feeling of what the application is going to look like before the build starts. If this design is approved by the customer, everyone knows exactly what is to be built and the final price can be given.
This phase is not always necessary. In case of a simple website where everyone already knows exactly what to expect, a simple listing of the functionalities will also do to make the final offer. It would be inefficient to spend a lot of precious hours in extensively describing all screens.
3. The prototype
Based on the functional design we can start building. On a via Internet accessible location a prototype will be placed for all to try and test. During this phase often new wishes and demands surface because now the application really starts to come to life. Of course this is no problem and when handling small, new wishes a certain amount of flexibility is involved but extended, not foreseen features will clearly have to be charged extra.
4. The delivery
If all is well crystallized and tested the site or application can go live and you can enjoy your new acquisition.
